Boston College selects Acella Construction for multi-phase project

Acella Construction has begun work on a multi-phase project for Boston College. The work, which will be performed at Conte Forum, will include new zamboni storage areas, equipment rooms, locker rooms and a break room.  The work will be performed on an aggressive phased schedule to meet firm deadlines required by the athletic department. "This is the second major project that Acella has undertaken for Boston College's athletic department, and we're honored to be selected" said David Dirubbo, President of Acella Construction. "We're thrilled to be back on Boston College's campus and are anxious to continue building our relationship with them."

As anyone in construction knows, the punchlist is the real test of a superintendent’s expertise, and Acella passed it with flying colors. This, despite the fact that the project was terrifically complicated technically, involving both restoration and new work, with a variety of trades employed- requiring broad knowledge from the project team.
