SCITUATE, and NORWELL, MA, ISSUED SEPTEMBER 8, 2014…Acella Construction Corporation (, a construction management firm serving the region for more than a decade, recently completed an extensive renovation project to St. Luke’s Church in Scituate.

Acella was contracted by St. Luke’s Church for several renovation needs, including a complete renovation of the front entry and Narthex of the church.  A new front entrance and vestibule were added, expanding the lobby area to accommodate more parishioners.  In addition, new ADA-compliant bathroom facilities were added, as were additional storage space and coat closets.

Site work on the project was led by Acella Vice President of Operations Anthony Dirubbo.  This renovation was the first of its kind to the facility in over 40 years.

“It was great working with St. Luke’s Church on these necessary renovations,” said Dave Dirubbo, president of Acella Construction.  “We were glad to do our part to make this important community facility more accessible for anyone wanting to visit.”

Working with Acella was great. They were always available to answer my questions and they kept me in the loop every step of the way. They were very flexible and patient and worked around our working schedule – sometimes coming in very early in the morning. Their work turned out wonderfully and they even painted a large wall that was not part of the scope to get the whole space looking shiny and new. This was my first renovation project and they made me look good! I would highly recommend Acella.”
